Sonor's Palisono series. Palisono bars are made from high-quality fiberglass and overtone tuned for premium sound quality and intonation. The fiberglass material is resistant to humidity and will maintain intonation regardless of seasonal weather changes. Resonator box includes tuning adjuster to tightly control frequencies and volume within room acoustics. Resonator boxes also include unique feet to provide optimum resonance.
Contra Bass and Sub-Contra Bass resonate one octave below a deep bass xylophone or metallophone and make an excellent substitute for timpani. Mallets are not included with these Meisterklasse bass bars, but it is highly recommended using a soft yarn bass bar mallet, like the Basic Beat mallet, item 261021.
