Rosco continues to develop unique forms of their revolutionary LitePad. Not content with "solid body" versions Rosco has simply punched a hole in 9.17" LitePad and tricked it out with mounting accessories to create a highly effective ringlight. The design is aimed at filling the professional photographer's or health professional's wish list, from the minimal 2.4 lb weight, super slim profile of 1.37" and easy-on-the eyes soft output. Power options include the provided AC adapter or AA battery pack as well as optional Anton Bauer and V-Mount batteries.
This
Rosco Standard LitePad Loop Pro Kit
is comprised of a Loop ring light, camera mounting assembly, transformer, extension cable, safety cord, safety thumb screw, light stand plate and Allen key. A LitePad Loop Color Pack containing CTO, Minusgreen and cosmetic filters is also included.
Soft Output
The light engine within the Loop is Rosco LitePad, which is well known for its flattering, indirect light output. (Rosco's LitePad fixtures are widely used in film and video because of this quality.) One of the key objectives in using a ring light is to reduce shadows, wrinkles and blemishes - so, having a soft light source is an extremely important feature of any ring light. Rosco's Loop is the softest LED-based ring light available, thanks to its LitePad-based technology.
Easy on the Eyes
Because ring lights are used so much in close-up photography, it's better to have a source that the subject can look at without hurting their eyes.
