Overview
The
Lowel Rifa-Lite EX44
is a compact self-contained 16 x 16", 250 watt, collapsible, tungsten/halogen softlight. It uses the unique umbrella-like Rifa design which allows set-up in 60 seconds or less. Bathe almost anything from talking heads to table-top stills in luxurious, soft light.
Its quick change power cord easily converts for use with professional battery belts, allowing it to work at 12/14 and 30 VDC, in addition to 120 and 230 VAC. It's the perfect complement to today's compact, light sensitive digital cameras and filmstocks.
Accessory eXchange lampheads allow use of daylight fluorescent lamps. Bulbs are available separately.

The
Lowel Rifa eXchange Fluorescent Three Lamp Module
is a push-turn head for the redesigned Rifa-EX softbox lights. It fits all the Rifa-EX boxes.
The idea behind this is versatility. Choose this module for your Rifa-EX 88, 66, 55, or 44 softbox light. It is designed with three standard Edison screw bases for screw-in fluorescent lamps.
Choose the
TH-X1000
for your Rifa-EX 88, 66, or 55 softbox light, with 500-1000W lamps, 120 or 240 VAC.
Choose the
TH-X300
for 125-300W at 120-240 VAC, or 50-100W at 12V, or 200W DC.
For use with one incandescent or fluorescent lamp with standard Edison screw base
Each lamp can be separately turned on or off
* Be careful. The fluorescent lamp screw bases must accurately align with the socket threads. You may need to rearrange the lamps in different light sockets.

employs a unique reverse folding design that allows the stand to break down to just 20.25" in length—small enough to fit into even the most compact kit bag. The four-section stand rises to a maximum height of 86.5" and has a 40" base diameter for maximum stability. Another impressive feature is the ability to remove the center column from the stand's legs, giving you a three-section pole for a handheld light or other accessory. The Uni TO Dual Light Stand has a standard 5/8" stud topped with 1/4"-20 threads.
