it appears that it's never been installed in a rack
all I'm sure of is that a little green light comes on in the motherboard when it's plugged in.... beyond that I don't know what it's for or what it does... AND... I guarantee nothing beyond a new chassis and that a little green light comes on...  no return for any reason (it's just too expensive to ship)
it's a big box (see header) and it's heavy (50lb.)
